My Q2 Success Plan

Yesterday I wrote on my personal development blog about how I was revamping my goals for the next 90 days. Rather than focus on reaching goals that require other peoples actions, such as hitting specific dollar or subscriber targets, I’ve decided that I am now only focusing on creating good, helpful content in my niches. This way whether or not I hit my targets every month is under my control alone.

In order to give myself the best chance of success at achieving my goals, I’m making myself publicly accountable by posting them on a separate page here. The only thing I won’t do is give away the links to all my niches, but you will be able to see how much content I intend to create for them over the course of the next 3 months.

You can find my progress page here. And as always suggestions for topics to create content around, and words of encouragement are always welcomed and greatly appreciated! :)

  1. Hi
Today is April 11, 2009 and I was wondering how your plan is progressing.

I couldn’t imagine getting all the things done that you have laid out over the next 90 days. (less 9 now)

I have my hands full just creating one or two new pieces of content every week or so.

Trying to increase my network of friends. (but not go overboard) using Facebook and Twitter as well as a new landing page to sign up for my Net Friends list.

I have about 175 Facebook friends, 125 Twitter followers and 8 signed on to my Net Friends list. You can see my new sign up landing page here.

I would like to grow my Net Friends list to about 1000 over time. I would like to concentrate on the needs and wants of those 1000 Net Friends and create and/or find solutions to those needs and wants as chances that they are not the only ones on the net with the same desires.

Matching solutions with problems at the least possible cost for my 1000 Net Friends is my goal. (specific) Time frame to achieve is end of 2009. (doable) Tools to be used are social networking tools. (available)

At this point I am still figuring out how to put the car in gear. Once I get that down then hopefully I will be able to reach the gas peddle. Then we will be of to town!

Wishing you the very best with your Q2 success plan.

    Smiles :o )

  2. Hey Gary!

    Great to hear from you!

I have to be honest and say I’ve fallen off the writing wagon over the past week or so. But I’m making a committment to myself to get back on this week, and get as caught up as I possibly can. I know that I’ve put a lot on the plate for the next three months, but I’m such a great procrastinator, that the only way I know how to not procrastinate is to make sure there’s enough on my plate that I don’t have time to put anything off. :)

I like your approach to your Net Friends list. I think that keeping it manageable is a really great idea and allows for much more interaction and actual relationship building. I think your goal is very doable, and I have no doubt you’ll be successful in achieving it.

It’s amazing how far we’ve all come since that first Team Canada so long ago. :)

Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate it :)
